my parents watched the kids last night so that pat and i could go out and celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. our actual anniversary isn't until july 11, but i'm due 5 days later and wanted to celebrate a little early. actually, our charleston trip last summer was our "10 year anniversary trip" - because i had a feeling we wouldn't be able to go anywhere this summer ;-)
this is NOT my "10 year anniversary post" - that will come closer to the actual day.
we had a great night though. went and got my engagement ring re-set into a paladium setting (like platinum, but slightly cheaper). i've always had yellow gold, but only wear silver, so it'll be nice! we should get it back by our actual anniversary! we also did some errands - picked up dry cleaning, picked out new glasses for me (i've had the same ones since high school!), and got a new stroller/car seat for our baby for NO MONEY (i sold enough stuff on craig's list to buy it!)
then we went out to dinner. and we were home at 9 pm. ridiculously early, i know, but my body was hurting so bad.
it was a fun night. i love this man beyond what words can describe. i love sharing life with him.

I love you guys so much - you know that, right? I can't believe 10 years is almost here either!!! I'm SO excited to see your engagement ring - it's hard for me to picture it differently, so I can't wait to see it!!! What are you going to do for your wedding band? Sounds like you had a WONDERFUl night out!!!

Well, my ten year was this year and as you know, I spent it under three layers of blankets with the chills and fever and sore throat and the acheys and an order of tamiflu. I hope/know yours is going to be better as it already has been!
