no triathlons for me

our neighborhood pool opens at 5:30 am a couple mornings a week for "lap swim". i thought it might be a good idea to "switch up" my workout and try to swim every once and a while. bought goggles and everything. went this morning for the first time. i was done after 4 times back and forth and my legs STILL feel like jelly. no triathlons for me...i'll stick to running for now. since i was back home about 15 minutes after i left - i did do "The Firm" aerobics tape - so at least i feel like i got a good workout.

Well, you never know when you might feel up to a tri. The swimming only gets easier the more you do it. I am sure you had the same thoughts when you first started running. Who knew you would ever go nine miles. Have a great day!

You know I"m a big fan of the water exercise! I loved my water aerobics class - definitely gets your heart pumping! You are a crazy woman though to get up at 5:30 after the week you've had. Take a nap today - it's on my schedule for sure!!
