this week so far...

ok. here's a picture of joshua. sorry it's a little blurry. so, he will be missing his 2 front teeth til his permanent ones come in. the only issues so far are some foods are harder to eat and some words are harder to understand. but neither issue seems to frustrate him very much. yesterday he turned around and walked right into the shopping cart in the grocery store - not sure what to do with this kid!

swim lessons started this week for rebekah and joshua - every morning for 2 weeks. you can see joshua in the background...and bailey wishing she could be a part of it. i made the mistake of NOT putting her bathing suit on the first day - every other day she's had one on and has had a blast. wet clothes are much harder to deal with than a wet bathing suit.
came into the living room and found this site yesterday...bailey has on rebekah's jacket and backpack, apparently she was "going to school." and they had a bag of chips and were chowing down - it was like 9:30 in the morning. once i snapped the picture, the chips were quickly taken away and some words were spoken about "asking before you eat something."

ok...blast from the past. this picture was taken the summer of 1995...of my 2 best friends at the time - katy and jenny.

here we are - 12 years later. we met at Tyson's yesterday for lunch. katy lives in Virginia Beach and is up visiting her mom with her 3 kids. Jenny lives in MD and made the trek with her 1 month old little boy! it was so fun!

katy and her kids came out to Ashburn today and went to the pool with us - it was a blast!

as if she doesn't have enough kids of her own - she LOVES on my kids like they are her own - and they love her SO much! you should have seen the hugs she got from Bailey!
