lent 2016:: day 1

i'm maybe going to post a thought/verse to Instagram every day of Lent. so far I have, but we'll see if I keep it up. i'm not in a place these days where I can make something like that a SURE thing, but i'm going to try.

this was day 1. ideally, i'd post it here on the correct day - ha!

On this first day of Lent, i'm once again expectantly placing my eyes on the only One that can make my cold heart warm and my broken spirit whole.
