theme nights

we did a different "theme" for most of the nights. the first night didn't count - we were just getting settled :-)

the second night was "fancy" night. the adults had steak and other yumminess...the kids had chicken nuggets and carrots and grapes...and candlelight!

after the kids ate dinner, the dads danced with their daughters to a couple songs...

i couldn't find pat ANYwhere a few minutes later...and found him sitting out by the water with rebekah. precious.

the dinner hour (ok. hours. between 5:30 and 7:30 pm or so) were insane. trying to clean up 21 kids, feed them and get them to bed. INSANE. and loud.

for italian night, we made our own pizza's. and the ayer's had a beer MADE for our week! labeled special and everything! so fun!

the island looked like this at EVERY meal. but we DID clean it off in between!

i was handed a margarita around 6 pm, in the midst of the insanity, and it was the sweetest gift :-)
