the porch

i was in LOVE with the back porch on this house.
we dismantled a table from inside and brought it out (had to unscrew the legs to get it through the door!) to have enough seats for all 10 adults.

the sound of the waves. the ocean breeze. the moon shining on the water. the amazing friendships sitting around that table. it was so beautiful in so many ways. and such a GIFT after getting all the kids in bed! we usually sat down to eat dinner together around 8 pm...and just sat there until we went to bed. 

we also used it well for lunchtime. the kids would be in the pool. the moms inside making lunch. and the dads "supervising" the pool from the porch - ha!

ok. i'm officially sad now...such precious memories those are!
