the last day...(tuesday)

 i know this is getting obnoxious. but, if you don't want to read this one, you HAVE to just scroll down and look at the last picture. it will be worth it!

this last morning, we (and when i say "we" i mean, mostly my dad) put the pole in for the basketball hoop...

 i LOVE this frame that my parents have... :-)

my boys learned a lot this morning.

after a while, hannah and i offered to go ahead to the beach and set up our "camp" for the day. we roped steve into coming with us. my dad needed a couple more bags of cement, and we also needed to get ice. first we flew into home depot, grabbed 2 80 lb bags of cement and RAN them up the driveway when we got back to the house. got the ice. and then RAN the stuff (tent, chairs, toys, towels, cooler) from the car to the beach (2 trips each.) steve thought we were NUTS. but we wanted to be SITTING on that beach so badly! :-)

ahhh...everyone else finished the hoop and ate lunch and joined us!

 i was prepared to skip lunch, but they brought us lunch! and an amazing one at that!
 
 it ended up being cloudy the whole day...but we still enjoyed being there!

and these next few pictures were a GREAT result of the cloudy day!

we did LOTS of picture taking that evening (another post). this was at the end!

went out to dinner...

and then. there was this guy next to where we were eating that had a parrot. you had to pay to let the parrot sit on your arm. i mean? the stuff people will do for a buck! every kid did it except sawyer. levi was hysterical :-)

it was SUCH a great week. start to finish. i'm so thankful for my family!!! immediate AND extended!
