my dad had told me about this event
2 years ago and we went. (my kids were BABIES!) we must not have gone last year? but i heard about it late this morning and decided to go (even though it was during my precious REST time and i have a MILLION things to do to leave at 5:30 am tomorrow morning!) like 30 minutes before it happened.
i could NOT love this picture any more. NO editing. that's how beautiful the day/sky/kids were!
we had to wait a good 30 minutes for them to come (on an overpass that if the kids moved 6 inches 1 way, they were in a BUSY 4 lane road and 6 inches the OTHER way they were falling off the bridge!)...but it was worth it!
he was in HEAVEN.
SUCH an honor to support the heroes of our country!
now back to packing...

Beautiful pictures of a wonderful few moments. I love how they seem so taken with the "event". The CLEAR blue sky....wow, takes your breath away. What a blessing this was. Thanks for sharing!
I feel like Rebeka is getting more and more beautiful. She is such a lady! Way to go mama.
