blackberry picking

i told the kids we could go to the farm as soon as the house was picked up. SPOTLESS. under beds, in closets, EVERY single lego piece that is anywhere.

that worked well!! :-) we are leaving tomorrow morning to go to the beach for a week and my list seems to be getting longer instead of shorter, but we were able to spare a few hours to be out at the farm! the list always gets done.

 it was glorious out there. 75 degrees. sunny. blue skies. TONS of ripe blackberries. we picked 6 little buckets full in about 10 minutes and then played!

 it was nice to not have to rush. we seem to always have time constraints. which is just life. but today we didn't and it was nice.
