a gift for me

a few days ago, i asked my kids if they would do me a favor. if they would agree to happily let me take their picture. because i love them and love pictures of them. they agreed. and we did it the evening of sawyer's birthday!
some of these are so funny...saywer? what in the world?

i can't EVEN begin to pick a favorite! the girls picked their outfits. i picked L, S and L's outfits. and i was happy that joshua agreed to be there. i didn't care what he had on.

jenn - it's been almost 2 years since you took this picture! the kids asked for it...so i did it!
sisters
brothers. (that's about how joshua felt...but he did a good job not showing it. mostly.)

Ohmygoodness, those are GREAT! I love the one with all of them laying with their heads in a circle looking at the camera with those adorable grins on their faces - too cute! And also? Rebecca is gorgeous! You can just tell from her sweet smile that she is such a gem!

{I know you don't know me, but I read your blog daily and feel like I know your family, haha. I'm not a creeper, just a lover of Jesus with a heart for adoption as well. ;) We have 4 bio kids and the desire to add to our brood eventually - and I would love for our additions to be from Africa. :) So anyway, yeah.}

There is a book, and eating plan, called Trim Healthy Mama. It is similar to Paleo in that there is no sugar, processed food, etc. however, it is Biblically based. I like to be able to express why something is healthful, this book works you through that without undermining our faith. As Chrisitians we are to be vigilant; we should always remember to let the Word of God be the judge as we give answers with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3:15. I think you might like it.
