i have 2 ideas to share with you. they have changed my life and i'm not exaggerating.
this is the first one. a home for water bottles. we use water bottles daily. we hardly ever use the disposable kind...or drink juice boxes or milk boxes or whatever. my kids always have one of these in their hand. but they lived in a cabinet above the oven and when you wanted to get one out, 2 others inevitably fell on your head. it wasn't fun. THIS IS FUN!
second. these glass jars. my mom gave me a pier one gift card for my birthday. i hadn't been in pier one for YEARS. i, of course, spent the money on stuff for my kids...but they are CUPS for my kids and it has reduced how many times i run the dishwasher! which is SO awesome!!
i know, i know. you're wondering, "what?" "what is so amazing about some cups?"
let me show you. chalkboard on it. so their name goes on it. and then i handwash it at the end of each day. and set them on the counter to be filled back up in the morning. so simple. yet has changed my life. and i love how they look! (and, new rule. they are not allowed outside. levi brought his outside and dropped it. million pieces of glass. so, i need another but they are on backorder. but i can be patient...)

i saw the water bottle idea on pinterest - love it! i wish i had a door that it would work on!
love the glasses too. i saw some plastic mason jars at target - with a handle, lid, and straw! maybe that would work for outside? :)
I am going out and getting the shoe holder for my water bottles! That's ingenious! THANKS for sharing!
love it! thanks for sharing!
I saw those same plastic jars that Jenn saw! LOVED them! I had to walk away quickly. :)
Love the water bottle idea. I always have tons of them lined up on my counter because they can't fit in my cabinets. Now to find a door to put them on. Maybe my shoe closet that is off from the kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
I did a color coded system with cups, plates, bowls, etc. when they were younger, but they don't follow that anymore. We go through way to many cups each day, but glass would be a disaster even inside my house!
Love the water bottle idea! I can Hadley wait for tomorrow to do it myself!
We write names on mason jars with a sharpie. Works well and really helps the overloaded dishwasher problem.
