passport to purity with bailey

a couple weekends ago, bailey and I got to escape for a night!

the purpose was to go through "passport to purity" together. "the talk" (plus some other areas she'll need wisdom in as she enters her teen years.)

this program is put together SO well. it's a set of cd's with a workbook and object lessons and it is excellent.

reading some letters people that love her wrote...
we didn't JUST listen to serious stuff. I took her to a gymnastics meet - she LOVED that!

we ate lots of yummy food. stayed in a nice hotel. watched a movie in bed with candy :-)
she's at that place where one minute she's trying to be older...and the next she's jumping off benches like a 5 year old. I love it. and don't want it to end!
 we finished!!!
making silly faces in the mirror of the elevator was one of her favorite parts. I will always remember that.  it was a weekend filled with precious memories.

I love these weekends you do with your kids! What a GREAT time you two had. I love the smiles, the commitment to do and finish up the lessons, and the bonding. So precious.
