there was this little deck area between our house and the beach. i spent almost every morning there watching the sun come up over the ocean, talking to Jesus, and then heading out for a run. as a group, we go to bed a lot earlier than we used to (now that everyone has kids and we are all tired at the end of the day!) so it's easier to get up early. it was the perfect way for my heart to start my day. i looked forward to it every night as i went to bed.
