they got marshmallows

such a great day yesterday.

got to run with my running group since i could run a little later with the kids being out of school (their kids are all either in high school or college, so they don't want to wake up and run with me as early as i have to go! i've MISSED them!! one day a week a couple of them DO run with me, which is so nice, but we all miss our big group being out there!)

spent the morning at target with my crew...buying our gifts for our kids for Operation Christmas Child. then we had friends come over for the afternoon/evening! once again, 10 kids seemed easier than 6. it's because everyone had friends their age to play with!

rebekah and joshua had ridden their bikes to the grocery store earlier in the afternoon to get a bag of marshmallows...because we HAD to have marshmallows for night 2 of our fire in the driveway! :-)

and, amidst it all, i was trying to pack. because i'm leaving this morning for 5 days in austin, tx!! i can't WAIT!! reunion with my college roommates PLUS getting to see a friend that used to live here and moved to texas years ago. i have more books packed than pairs of shoes. and am so looking forward to time with friends! i'll be back here next week sometime...
