friday afternoon :: week 6
WE ARE DONE! it took EXACTLY 5 weeks. and it is DONE! as of 30 minutes ago!!!
this week our stairs were stained...
the pendant lights were hung over the sink (LOVE!)
dishwasher installed. so, i think it's a "mini" dishwasher. def smaller than my old one :/ i was so focused on it being QUIET and the drawers sliding easily, that i didn't pay close enough attention to the size. oh well! that's what i get for designing/picking everything on my own...
then the stairs/railings were painted.
we have a back staircase, too. so it *had* to be painted also!
done!

we could NOT be happier. now we look forward to USING it and blessing OTHERS with it!

we also got a new dishwasher about a year ago and made the same "mistake"....but having a dishwasher close to the family room like you do, I promise I'd make the same choice over again...we do more dishes now, but don't mind having the machine on since we can still function now that is's so quiet!
