choosing the sweet

there were plenty of "hard" "stressful" moments today. some legitimate, some i created out of drama.

but i'm choosing to focus on the sweet moments.
like catching bailey reading "The Jesus Storybook Bible" to Lincoln. and baking a new recipe in my new kitchen with rebekah. and pat getting home HOURS earlier than i thought he would (i didn't think i'd see him tonight!) and sawyer reaching his little face down to me from his top bunk so he could kiss me goodnight. and an "all clear" from the dr on my little scare last week. and friends texting me all day to let me know they were praying for me about it.

i actually could go on and on.

but i am trying to get to sleep earlier these days and i'm going to hold myself to it tonight.
