i am humbled.

after a long afternoon fighting {yet again} for (not with!) that one child (plus 2 teacher conferences. plus meeting with a contractor. plus burning dinner trying to get it ready in time to leave to get rebekah to church on time), rebekah and joshua holed themselves up in the basement and presented me with this as i crawled to the dinner table.

a poster about how much they love me. and all kinds of encouraging "God has a plan" type things. and "God loves you" sticking out of a pink painted water bottle.

i was so held up. and humbled. to be known and encouraged by my own children. that they would know that i would be feeling weighted down...and desired and knew how to lift me up. what an amazing feeling!

they were His voice to me this evening. oh, how He loves us!
