lunch with the kids!

my mom, sawyer, levi and i went up to the elementary school and ate lunch with the kids yesterday.
i didn't tell lincoln that we were coming because he just has a hard time with anything being changed in his day...and i was afraid that it would make him not be able to focus for the whole morning. what should have been a fun surprise...wasn't. let's just say he was "caught in the act" and there are no pictures because there were no smiles. i am struggling to find hope right now...that things could ever change. but i have to, because what else is there?? i admit to being very frustrated...which turns to anger...i SO desire healing for him, but am not sure he does and i think that's where it has to start.

next up...joshua! it was so fun watching him with his good friend...

and then...bailey! and 2 of her sweet friends joined us...

later that afternoon, my mom went to rebekah's band practice (she has a concert tonight but my mom can't come...) and brought her home for me! thanks to my mom's love and sacrifice, she managed to see and love on every one of my kids that day!

such fun!
