joshua's last football game of the season

LOTS of dinners on the go these last couple weeks of school...while spring sports overlap with the beginning of the swim team season.

last night was joshua's last football game. they didn't win a game all season, but he had a blast. (#22)

they "fake" passed to him - it worked on me! i thought he had it :-)

joshua scored a touchdown in this last game!!! and i saw him CATCH it and run it into the endzone...every second. any mom that has little kids at your older children's game knows how amazing this is. i feel like i miss all the "good" plays because i'm distracted by something the little kids are doing or giving some "correction" they need or taking them to the bathroom...again. i had put my camera away and saw every SECOND of his catch and touchdown. what a gift!!! and so FUN for him!!!

the game before his went into overtime. like, WAY overtime. joshua's game started so late that the sprinkler system came on (i guess it usually comes on once everyone is gone.) they couldn't figure out how to turn them off.  but it was 90 degrees out at 8:30 pm, so it was fine!

she somehow manages to make or see a friend EVERYwhere she goes :-)

our kids were DRENCHED but they had a blast!!
