spring is {finally - what the HECK took you so long?!?} here!!!

we had a nice weekend.
the weather is FINALLY turning (although i did my long run saturday morning with my earwarmer thing on still. and long pants. boo. but hopefully that was the last one!)

joshua started his flag football season. that's the ONLY sport we have this spring. it's awesome.

went out to dinner with the young's on saturday night. super fun. loved every minute! we are so blessed by them and their love for us and our family!

pat and brian were randomly matched as roommates freshman year at jmu. brian was a Christian. pat was not. thanks to brian, who brought him to intervarsity and who lived out Christ's love to him, pat became a Christian that year.

guy friendships are so different than girl friendships. but it has been a deep honor to watch this friendship over the years.

 we spent a lot of time outside in our front yard...doing yardwork and playing. i even took the 3 little boys off for a little photo shoot - i'll share - the cuteness is about too much!
