joshua is number #22.
we moved joshua up to a more competitive league from the one he played in in the fall. it was obvious at this first game, but i think it will be good for him!
we LOVE the coach. for lots of reasons (he is a friend and we are so glad to be on his team!) but one of the BIG ones: they don't do snack after the game!!! {HUGE pet peeve of mine. i mean, EVERY sport around here is this whole snack ordeal. they play like a 30-45 minute game. and then eat DOUBLE the calories they possibly worked off, in oreo's and juice!}
they lost. but joshua was in heaven and it was SO fun to watch him.

This may sound silly, but I'm SO glad you wrote about the post-game snacks. I had no idea. We haven't gotten to "team sports" yet, and that's definitely be something that would drive me crazy too! I already struggle with the 900 class parties Berk has! Thanks for the warning!! :)
So when does he get to play tackle football? :)
I wish parents would still just bring orange slices like the old days. Snacks and juice in one.
DUde. Is that in my hood? Send me a few dates/times and we will come cheer! Woot.
snacks is my pet peeve too. i tried suggesting to the soccer coach this year we skip it, but they said the kids would feel left out since all the other teams were doing it. really? please don't get me started.
