awesome afternoon

we had the nicest (i was going to say, "best", but let's not get TOO crazy! there were still arguments and cranky mom at the end :-)) afternoon yesterday. we are just all so glad that it's WARM and we can be OUTSIDE!!!!!

skinned, dirty knees...

 can't wait til these tulips pop open!

 then i fed them the easiest, cheapest, (ok...lamest) dinner (pasta with parmesan cheese on it...and strawberries) and we walked/rode our bikes to joshua's football practice. its IN our neighborhood!

 we kept going and played at a playground while joshua finished practice. everyone went to bed HOT (it's like 85 degrees in our house. determined NOT to turn the ac on), sweaty, tired, and happy (ok. mostly.)

finding SO many moments of pure joy with these 6 people these days.
