we are not experts, by any means. but we HAVE learned some stuff over the last 2 years! i should do a whole post on all the lotions and oils and conditioners we've tried. and what has worked (and what hasn't!)

lincoln's hair pretty much has to be "shaved". his hair is very sparse and if we let it grow out, it would just be in clumps on his head. the first time pat did it, he "bic-ed" it (i have no idea how to spell that). like, literally took a razor and shaved it down to the skin. it looked AWESOME...for about 2 days. that is a BIG "no-no" for their hair. because their hair is so curly, it can't grow back through the hair follicle hole (sorry for my awful terminology!) so it gets caught under the skin and then there are all these bumps. and it can get infected/hurt/etc.
so....you have to cut it NOT QUITE all the way to the scalp. which is what this clipper does. it's made for their hair. pat had a co-worker that gave him the scoop on it! we were so thankful! and it's worked great ever since!

Thanks! Also, if you get a chance sometime would love to hear all of your experience on lotions and hair stuff. We need all the help that we can get! =)
