our week started out kinda decent out. while pat and the older kids were snowtubing, we went on a walk and played at the playground...
but that weather didn't last long. it hasn't gotten out of the 20's since tuesday! kinda cold for here.
oldest and youngest. they almost always sit like this in the car. 18 months later. she was a HUGE source of security for him when he first joined our family. now it's just plain love :-)
on my way to the gym one morning. i.hate.treadmills. but i couldn't brave the cold alone that morning.
there are quite a few things in our house that are just never going to be the same since a certain someone came home 18 months ago...and usually we have NO idea what happened. bizarro stuff. these curtains are one of them. ripped to shreds?? i have no idea. we don't even ask sometimes. they've been like this for MONTHS...
i couldn't stand it anymore. i bought the CHEAPEST ones at target - $4.99 each. and have no idea why i waited so long. well, actually i do. it's hard to want to replace things that you think are just going to get ruined again...but i couldn't take it anymore. PLUS, this is the window on the very front of our house..that anyone driving or walking by can see. i'm sure people wonder what in the WORLD?!?
ahh...no rips :-)
after school. homework helping. hearing about their days.
i despise playdoh. but every kid *needs* to know what it is, right?? i was brave and pulled it out one morning. they LOVED it!

We have stuff like your curtains around here too - and lots and lots of lying to go with it. Your new ones are pretty!
levi is just absolutely adorable!
I know why the Irish and British have the stories about brownies and fairies that cause mischief in the night. So many things happen around the house and no one ever seems to know what happened. Sinful little cuties, doing deeds, lying about them, and yet I love them so much. I guess that's why it pains me so. God and I talk about this a lot.
