"choo-choo city"

that's what we named it.
after we did school together this morning {and after i did one of my FAV crossfit workouts!} we made this together.
i drew it, they went and got trains. and lego men. and cars. and i kept drawing. we were all in heaven!
{i definitely saw this idea SOMEwhere. don't remember where. just not claiming i came up with it all on my own.}

i just taped a long piece of paper down, and drew whatever i thought seemed fun. a long road. train tracks crossing it. a playground. and a culdesac of houses that ALL the people we love live in :-)

the trains DEFINITELY got the most love. i should have drawn more train tracks...

this was 2 hours later. i played with them for awhile. and then took a shower. and they were playing so nicely, i decided to just lay (!!!) on the couch and watch and take them in. it was like the craziest thing ever! that i LET myself not just sit, but LAY down (it was for like maybe 10 minutes. but still!) they played with it ALL morning. and then ALL afternoon! sawyer asked if we could leave it there "until we die." i think he likes it :-) and for those of you with all your kids under the age of 4? enjoy it. it is such a precious time...
