"ready to go get our tree??"
we went to a new {to us} farm this year. half the price. awesome trees. we were fans.
hot chocolate. he didn't drink it. he just held the cup :-)
setting up the train. only to find out it didn't work...
it's so hard to take good pictures in our family room! it drives me crazy! there is so little light...this was MIDDAY and it's so dark in there...i do my best!
and it's done. ready to be enjoyed for the next 23 days (because it WILL be gone dec 26 :-))
i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. until the morning of december 26. then i want it GONE!
sorry. what a horrible thing to say, huh??
i DO love it and never want to turn the lights off!

Your tree is beautiful! Perfectly shaped! I've had a fake tree for a number of years, and I'd be embarrassed to tell you how long I leave it up:). But when I had a real one, I had to leave it up as long as possible....at least through the new year because I always have people over during the week between the holidays. Plus...our trash company doesn't even collect them until the 2nd Saturday in January. I guess that would just about kill you, huh:)?
You just gave me ANOTHER reason to have LOTS of kids....helpers decorating the Christmas tree! Now, to let go of my controlling nature that wants the tree to look good...Ahh that will come with time :)
