the reception!

the patio was transformed into the most gorgeous reception while we had a cocktail hour up at the house.

see those lights on the left? my dad definitely BUILT those stands, filled those bags with sand and strung those lights in between the ceremony and reception. hannah said she wanted lights. and he made there be lights. it was beautiful!
 my mom and her sisters!
 first dance...
 father/daughter dance. they took a class and ACTUALLY danced!
and after a sweet song, "cotton eye joe" came on! they danced to that, too! {cary, joshua did YOUR dance to that!}
 rebekah danced the NIGHT away! pat's parents took the 3 little boys home, but the 3 older kids stayed to the end! rebekah LOVED dancing with audrey (in the middle of this pic)
 so so sweet. they love my kids SO well! and so much!

 i had the honor of giving a toast. i was nervous. i do NOT like talking in front of that many people! but, i didn't cry. and, even though i had to have a paper, i said everything i wanted to say {which was basically that hannah is one of the most amazing people i know, i'm honored to be her sister and to let john know that he is getting an AMAZING treasure in her! and i know we're getting a treasure in him as he joins our family!}
 three of my CLOSEST friends were there! katy and jenny! {and chari! but i didn't get a picture!!!} it was SO great to see them!! katy drove from south carolina and chari drove from north carolina!!
 the dancing was in the barn. there was an upstairs that had a hold in the ceiling and you could look down to the dance floor...so fun!

 they were getting tired...
 BEAUTIFUL cake! made by john's sister in law.

 hannah and audrey
 and off they go!!!
 oesn't she look SO happy?? this picture make me BAWL for some reason! she just looks so content and i love it!
 it was an AMAZING day. every last bit!
