the creek

 we went to the creek one afternoon this week

 lincoln picked up 2 sticks at one point and was totally dancing and singing and swinging his hips back and forth like...i don't know what! it was hysterical!

 some moments my breath is taken away when i look at them. these 2 boys. our sons...brothers...wow...

 "mom! stick!"

 ok. see this bottle? it took me awhile to catch onto what was happening with it. but, once i did, ha!

 sawyer found this little bottle. he was filling the little bottle up with the creek water using the cap of the little bottle (instead of just dipping the bottle in the water).

 then he would walk up the hill and dump it in that bigger bottle.over and over. the patience of that kid is amazing. so much like something joshua would do...

we had a great afternoon! (and it wasn't bath night, but i kept my mouth shut. and it ended up being bath night :-)) it was worth it!
