he didn't win. boo.
but we could NOT be more proud of him for trying...and for his attitude in losing.
he was definitely disappointed, but handled it well.
now on to chocolate chip cookies, a friend over for him...followed by pizza and movie night as a family.
i think he's going to be just fine.
did i mention how proud we are???

good for him. i hope he's willing to give it a shot again in 4th grade!!! it's HUGE that he was willing to try - I bet there were a bunch more kids that were too nervous or scared to even do that, so good for him! and hooray for a family night just to BE!!
Oh my, yes, how proud we are of Joshua's desire to be involved in his school in this way! He did an amazing thing. It will be experience that will grow him for the years ahead. What a GREAT job he did. Hip hip horray for Joshua!
