the CLOUDS!

i'm rushing through posting about our week last week and it makes me sad...but life is moving FAST here in our first week of school and i need to move on! but want to have these moments captured!

i wish it had rained less. but it DID make for some AMAZING clouds and sights to see over that huge expanse of the ocean!

and we also had these beauties in our midst :-)

the night pat and i made dinner we repeated our dinner from my family beach trip - and made sausages and hot dogs and ate on the beach! not as yummy as enchiladas and steak, but a fun adventure! (AND it wasn't raining...yet!)

after dinner i organized some relay races. hidden motive: tire those kids OUT!

ready as they are going to be...we had 3 teams.

it was chaos. but most of them had fun.

then we just did flat out races. (look at the sky!!!!! AND the twins!!! :-))

we managed to pack up and get inside before the rain came. whew! we actually got pretty good at seeing the storms coming over the ocean and predicting how long we had  until the rain ACTUALLY got to us.
