lincoln's blue cup

we brought a handful of things to rwanda with us for lincoln and levi.

lincoln's backpack and blue cup were last minute purchases. they were my last amazon order and arrived a couple days before we left. we all remember that backpack.

and the cup? this is the picture i think of when i think about that cup. it was the day we met them. we visited with them in the morning, and then had to leave. but we came back that afternoon. bailey was in charge of the cup and as we rode down that dirt road, i took this picture of her holding it, going to see her brothers again that she had just met.

and the next morning? again. she wanted to be able to hand him that blue cup.

this is the cup today. over a year later. he still uses it most every day. and it still WORKS!
nalgene - you are AMAZING. NOTHING else has survived a year with this child. nothing. he has destroyed things i didn't know COULD be destroyed. but this cup? still going strong!
