bailey and louise

the time we spent with louise wasn't in her room. we went into a little tv room to gather. our group was too big for her room.

it was stuffy and the couches weren't comfortable.

but, we witnessed a little piece of heaven while we were there.

my kids don't see many old people. and, i know that old people can be a little intimidating/scary to a small child. i was a little nervous for my kids.

well, bailey proved my worries all wrong. all my kids did fine. they smiled and looked at her and let her hug them and hold their hand.

but bailey?
she climbed right up there with her.

 looked louise RIGHT in her eyes. was COMPLETELY engaged.

 smiled that smile straight from God...

as bailey got closer to her, we all backed away and just kind of watched. it was so beautiful. in so many ways. God allowed me to see His love and joy through bailey - the one that i worried has lost her joy. He let me see it! and we are all a bit sad for Louise, for where she is, but we KNEW on that day that HE showed Himself to her through all of us, and ESPECIALLY bailey!

louise is a VERY special lady.

and bailey is a VERY special little girl.

it was such a gift to see them together!!! smiling their precious smiles at her!
