yesterday was "little league" day at the washington nationals baseball game.
so we ALL went!
game time was 1:35 pm.
we had to be there at 11 am for joshua and pat to line up in the parade.
it was a long day...but everyone did great!
we let pat and joshua go in to line up, and i took the other kids to this fountain to eat our lunch. what a discovery! there is a POOL there and it overlooks the potomac river! we will DEFINITELY be adding this to our summer list!
doesn't that look fun?!?
the parade started at noon, we so headed in to find our seats so that we could wave to joshua's team when they walked by!
here they come! {they are in the middle of the group walking toward us...navy blue}
when we decided to do this, i didn't calculate the fact that i would have 5 of the kids on my own for 2 hours. in dc. getting into a baseball stadium. but it was ok! {every kid under 12 got one of those red jerseys for free! score!}
just waiting for daddy and joshua...and the game to start!
peanuts were a GREAT snack! no sugar. kept their hands busy and lasted awhile!
levi took a nap in my lap :-)
this is out of order....
all 6 kids fell asleep on the way home...
rushed home to make and eat dinner so pat and joshua could get to baseball practice at 6 pm.
4 hour meeting at our house at 7 pm.
one more week...one more week...
it was a GREAT day together!

Call me when you go back to the park and wading pool. My office is RIGHT next door! I have lunch in that park every now and then and would LOVE to see a bunch of kids I recognize in the middle of a workday :)
