last day of school part 2

just for memory's sake, this was the first day of school...i remember sobbing my eyes out...

and the last day of school!!!! i LOVE their sleepy eyes (they'd been awake about 15 minutes...)

man. i love them so much. so so much. i love bailey looking at rebekah here...

could her outfit not be any MORE her??? red ribbon she tied in her hair. favorite shorts. toms shoes. 

every year i wonder..."is this the year that his greatest quality will no longer be 'sweet'??"
so far it's not the year. he is so sweet. and smiley.

and her. she was cold. and adorable. and i can't WAIT to get my hands on her heart this summer!!! we have some serious work to do. but i'm not intimidated. because of have the One that MADE her heart helping me.

fthe scene most every morning as we wave goodbye to them. lincoln is {always} done with his breakfast first. so he's at the window. it's loud. "BYE DADDY!!!!!" (and rebekah and joshua and bailey)

in a few months this little guy will be heading out, too.....wow...

i had this big plan for the last day of school. banners and all kinds of fun when they got home from school. but pat is leaving with rebekah, joshua and bailey to go camping for the weekend RIGHT when they get home from school.

so, our "welcome summer!" party will be on monday morning!

and i have the weekend to prepare and hang out with my 3 favorite little boys.
