i'm taking so few pictures these days. kind of makes me sad! it's weird to download pictures and realize i haven't taken any for DAYS!
wed nite swim meet. i was solo. it was hot. at a small pool
bailey and joshua won BOTH of their heats! rebekah won one of hers!
we camped out outside of the fence and ate dinner on the ground (just wait. it's our new favorite place ?!?) ok. so, i took this picture, then turned 180 degrees and took the next one...
here we go! that's the pool. i'd just walk inside and cheer when they raced.
i have a new dance. the kids think it's hysterical. because, well, it is!
this was taken about 4 pm thurs.
then we did our 5k training. i had them wear their bathing suits and they played in the sprinkler and little pool while i made dinner.
again. on the ground. this dinner was AWESOME! used this from pinterest. just put cucumber, tomato and mozz cheese in our pitas. so so yummy! and perfect for a 95 degree day!
3 of them liked it. 3 of them didn't. oh, well!
while i was making dinner (which took about 10 minutes TOPS by the way!) they came up with this game. joshua challenged me to it.
we basically had to use a little watering can to fill another bucket to overflowing with the water from the little blue pool.
i won!
rebekah and bailey racing...
by 6 pm, i was changed (not showered - yikes!) and in my car on my way to dc to this event...a fashion show/fundraiser for CASA - an organization that supports the foster children in DC! got to see holly and liza and get out of my little bubble! it was FUN!
friday morning. back at it.
ran to walmart to shop for a BIG, fun weekend and week ahead before dropping the kids off at vbs. they love their cd with their vbs songs on it!
after vbs, there was a final celebration with pizza and ice cream in the parking lot. 550 kids. their families. 100 degrees. fun times. :-)
again. eating our lunch on the ground.
off to cook and clean for a fun weekend ahead! swim team. friends. yummy food. doesn't get much better!! (maybe we'll even eat at a table! :-))

tables are for sissies.
i realized how long it had been since we actually ate at a table when we sat down last night at our table and the girls forgot how to actually SIT in their chairs. they were up and down and fidgeting the entire meal and i constantly had to remind them to SIT in the chair!
I know this isn't the point of this post, but I feel it's worth mentioning that you look AMAZING in these photos! So strong & athletic! What an inspiration you must be to your children!
