this is very very sad!
we noticed that they were getting all 4 legs...but i didn't really think about needing to DO something with them.
i think overnight a lot of them turned into frogs and then they couldn't get out of the jar and drowned?!? yikes!
the kids don't know yet...
man. it WAS going so well...

Yuck! I didn't want to look at that picture too long, afraid it might show up in a bad dream tonight!
ohmygosh. how sad! maybe try again next year and put a big rock in the middle?!
This happens to ours every year, and it is not about them not getting out of the water. It is about FOOD. They need live food right away, which is hard to come by given their tiny size:( We have had some last a few days as froglets, but they need to be released as soon as you see the front legs pop out!
