friday. anyone else tired??

i always feel this expectation that fridays are supposed to be like a party, all kinds of fun.
truthfully? i'm usually just TIRED.

i'm VERY tired today.

lincoln is such a big helper. some of my kids will help gladly when asked. some complain. lincoln doesn't even have to be asked. he sees a need and helps gladly. 

usually they play if i'm working out at home. this day they did it with me :-)

he kills me. and he knows it. we have a special connection, that boy and i.

checking out our tadpoles! they are turning into frogs. want to see??

this picture makes my heart happy. it was taken earlier this week. lincoln is "tickling" levi and levi is squealing with laughter.

we are on day #2 of lincoln "punishing" me for have a special day with rebekah. fun. ha!

but there are praises even in that. how the behaviors have been dealt with by me and his reaction to his discipline have both been calmer and we have been able to have more of a dialogue than just action. this is good. growth on both of our parts.

and to think of these 2 boys a year ago....

have a great weekend! i'm just hoping mine includes some good SLEEP!
