and sweet cards.
came home to the house being decorated.
rebekah and joshua had set their alarms to wake up and decorate before i came back home from running.
it's pretty fun having "older" kids!
there are some special something's in that jar. i can't open it until they get home from school.went to kickboxing and a neighbor told the instructor it was my birthday so the whole class sang to me :-)
and lincoln told everyone we passed it was my birthday - so i got lots of "happy birthdays!"
a friend stopped by and gave me the cutest diet coke cans and the flowers in the first picture. AND i had a little adult conversation which was nice!
treated myself to a salad from chipotle WITH guacamole for lunch. which i ate while i read so many fun texts/emails/facebook messages!
AND while i was sitting here feeling so blessed, the doorbell rang and my dad sent me the most beautiful flowers!
the rest of the day will consist of homework and playing outside and taking rebekah to swim practice and dinner (which i made DOUBLE of last night so i didn't have to cook tonight!) and getting the kids ready for bed and folding laundry and putting it away.
lots of my sweet messages have said things like, "i hope you have something fun planned for today..."
i don't. just a normal day.
but EVERYDAY is fun and special and full of blessings. so i'm not complaining!!!
not super excited about the number 35.
but so thankful for all He's given me!
my mom did a post that made me cry on her blog...BAD bad hair days - just warning you!
