perspective

this week has been one of those where i am forced to either have perspective, or let circumstances take me down.

there have been termites.
and a broken dishwasher.
hours spent on those tubs instead of outside playing with my kids.
a lying kid.

but there has also been the JOY of having pat home and the excitement of hearing about his trip.
the thankfulness that there are hardly any clothes to be bought...they are all stored away in the basement waiting for the next child to grow into them!
watching the excitement of my kids as they share about raising money for clean water.
running 3 miles at a 8:30 pace at 6:30 pm because pat got home early! {that's fast for me, ok?}
70 degree days!

and the above picture is such a perfect snapshot...of our neighborhood...and our family.
