it's world water day!!!

our day started early. in the middle of the night really. lincoln walked in our room at some crazy hour declaring (at a typical 5 pm voice. and he's LOUD around 5 pm!) "dad! my ear hurts!"

we were awake. and sad with him that his ear hurt.

as the other kids woke up this morning, it was SO cute to watch each of them come out of their rooms in their water shirts, smiling, saying, "it's world water day!" they were so excited! they could FEEL that today was going to be a big day. and it IS!

(he DOES have an ear infection. and they look rocked the dr office in their shirts!)

this is a BIG deal.  THE MAJORITY OF CHILD DEATHS UNDER AGE 5, WORLDWIDE, IS FROM LACK OF ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER. that is ridiculous. we can CHANGE that! let's do it!
