sweet gift
my sister gives me the best gifts. always thoughtful. always "me." she is a GOOD gift-giver!
look what she gave me for christmas...it is hanging in my bedroom and i see it right before i walk out.
that picture says a LOT, doesn't it?? i had to leave my baby to get to my other 2 sons..it was a sacrifice, and painful. but worth it. just because things are hard doesn't mean you shouldn't do them. i often choose to be comfortable over walking closer to Him. but this picture? it IS the picture of walking with Him...and the sweet JOY you will feel when you do!

Your blog was sent to me by a friend when you posted about the adoption ministry that you guys started at your church. We're in the process of the same 'start up' at our church (although our church is called HOPE our ministry won't be called Hope too! grin). And we're also about to travel to get our boy.
I've enjoyed following your family's journey the last couple of months as your family's grown and stretched.
