it was a SPECIAL weekend - full of amazing moments.
today was "just" a normal day. nothing "special"...except for the VERY special, precious husband and children that are my family.
these are the days that TRULY make up our lives...the ones that pass by without something BIG happening. the ones that are the building blocks for who we are all becoming.
my favorite moment with pat today was our email exchange this afternoon. it wasn't even complete sentences, but it was nice to "talk" during the day.
my favorite moment with rebekah was walking home from school with her and listening to her stories from her day.
my favorite moment with joshua was when he FIRST walked out of school. his smile. for me.
my favorite moment with bailey was sitting on the chair and cuddling.
my favorite moment with lincoln was reading to him in his bed before his rest time.
my favorite moment with sawyer was waking him up this morning. and how he fell into my lap.
my favorite moment with levi was dancing to "chicken fried" in the kitchen.
i know i will miss each and every one of those moments one day. i choose to see the blessing in them and do NOT take them for granted.
