lego's with joshua

some of my kids are easier to "do" stuff with than others.
either because we naturally like to do the same things, or because they force their way into my hands and don't give me a choice :-)

joshua is so content to just do whatever the rest of us are doing. or to play on his own. i have to be VERY intentional to create something that just he and i can do together and both enjoy.

i saw this lego set and used my christmas money to buy it for myself.

for he and i to make together. {this was a few days ago...}

it's emma's art studio {or something like that}

complete with a laptop and camera...

little drawers that really open, hairbrush and an idea board!

oh, and flowers, and a cup for your drink of choice and an ipod.
i mean...isn't it just about too much??

joshua got a kick out of it. it sits proudly on my kitchen windowsill and i love the sweet memories it brings to my mind when i see it!

and, joshua, just for the record, lego's ARE pretty fun! :-)
