i guess he was tired

most nights pat spends a few minutes one on one with 1 kid after he puts the rest to bed. most times they read or play a game. but, every now and then they get to play the wii together. this is joshua's DREAM! {he's really the only one that LOVES the wii.}

so, the other night, this was pat and joshua.

i went in to say goodnight to sawyer. one more time. since i assumed he was in there reading or playing {i.e. waiting for joshua to come in and go to bed above him in his bunkbed.}

but i found him like this. light on. dead asleep. i guess he was tired!

so, i ran downstairs and grabbed my camera. i mean, a sleeping baby (just let him be my baby) and the light on?? it's such a rare opportunity!

those fingers. how that blanket has his smell.

those LONG eyelashes.

and when i reached my index finger under his fingers? he grabbed it so tightly. i think he squeezed my heart.
