welcoming hannah HOME!!!

what a FUN day!!!

everytime i thought about today in the past few days, my stomach did that "excitement flip"!

hannah went with us to africa for a month, helped us bring 2 boys home from africa (AND navigate our way through 2 countries IN africa with 5 kids!) and then turned around and left 2 days later for central/south america. she's been gone for 5 months. we've ALL missed her like crazy!!!

and were SO excited to be there to welcome her HOME!!

i picked the older 3 kids up around lunchtime at school, we ate lunch in the car, watched Miracle on 34th Street on the way...and made our way to National Airport in DC

it's SUCH a beautiful airport!!

her flight was on time so we didn't have to wait too long

is she the BEST aunt in the world, or what??
last night, AFTER sawyer was in bed, he came back down the stairs to find me (which is a NO NO...but meant something was really up). he said, "mom? when i wake up, we go to the airport to get auntie hannah?" i said, yes! and the smile on his little face was SO precious!!!

the dude is a beast. so is hannah. she carried that thing around for 5 months!

but for now, she's at home {at my parents house}, enjoying a nice, hot shower, some yummy fresh food and hopefully getting a GREAT night's sleep!!!

SO glad to have hannah HOME!!!
