happy christmas eve
there seems to be so much to say. yet so little.
a hard day. yet so beautiful.
focusing on the fact that we are celebrating our Savior come to earth.
{a friend took this picture at church tonight. Lincoln and I worshiping together. thank you, debbie!!}
Love came down.
He did. for you and for me. wow.
also focusing on our family being TOGETHER this Christmas. after 2 years of aching for it. it's here.
a painful Christmas in some ways. yet beauty and love flowing through each and every part of it - even the painful parts.
eyes to Him. ever thankful. anxious for Christmas morning.
without Christmas morning, there would be ONLY pain. NO beauty!

Beautifully said ~ heaven/love came down to earth for US. Amen! Love you and Lincoln worshipping this night. Love seeing Christmas through Lincoln's eyes....what is Christmas he must be thinking? He is taking it in day by day, moment by moment. A new innocent sight of Christmas...at the age of 4. Amazing for us all. Rejoicing in Jesus this day ~ as He works in all of us. Merry Christmas dear Courtney. Enjoy your day. I love you.

Awwwwwww, I'm so glad someone got a picture for you. I was looking at you guys and thinking how very cute you two looked!
It is hard to imagine that what we have longed for is actually only the very beginning - isn't it? This is how we labor for our children who come to us from "hard places," and we rejoice in the sweet moments. I hope Christmas day was filled with joy.
The best part of that embrace was when he was patting his hand on your back. Bob and I both welled up. So precious.
