we've had some GORGEOUS days lately! and we are outside every minute we can be! because we ALL know what's coming! {well, lincoln doesn't. and that is going to be ugly...}

i have really loved having all the kids home these 2 days. it's harder in some ways. but my heart is so much more at peace. there are a lot more moments of arguing. and me talking them through things. but there are also so many GREAT moments!

joshua made a whole party in his room this morning in rebekah's honor. just because.
complete with decorations. and stations with activities for us all to do. he took EVERYONE into consideration. and he made a gift and the SWEETEST card for rebekah! it was PRECIOUS! and i LOVED watching his face as he presented each little part to us.

it's been a GOOD couple days. my prayer each day was to LOVE and ENGAGE and ENJOY. and i did.
perfectly?? no.

but i did. and i'm thankful for that!
