yesterday was orphan sunday. many of you already know that. some don't.
it's a worldwide day to raise our voices for them - for the orphan.
our church had an AMAZING worship service on saturday night - with the focus on adoption.
and a video was played on sunday morning (you might recognize some of the people in it ;-))
i am thankful for our church and it's heart for the orphan.
and i'm thankful that THIS orphan sunday there were 2 less orphans in the world!
{i am amazed how when i look at a picture of our family - it looks "normal"...complete. not huge and crazy. a lady asked me today...as my kids were all kind of around me but not RIGHT with me, "how many kids do you have?" and, as i said, "6!" with a genuine (for REAL!) smile on my face, it felt normal. not "new" and crazy.}

What a BEAUTIFUL family!! You are blessed!
I am so glad that it feels normal and not crazy and new. praise God! Gorgeous all of you!
Normal, not new. Two orphans who have a most wonderful home and family. Thanking God for you and His hand in it all. Precious picture of a REAL family ~ who love and give every day.
Just watched the video and realized I've been "saying" your last name wrong for years! I always thought it was Cass-o-da. (a short o sound ... that looks weird when I type it, but it sounds normal to say it.) So strange to hear Pat say it differently. :)
It was a good Sunday!
I totally get what you are saying.... and while I don't have 6 children, when I look at the 4 children and it feels so normal now. Thank goodness.....but I do have my crazy moments here and there, but they always pass.
