one day i will miss how close they always want to be to me, right??
i KNOW i will!
lots of closeness this week. and i tried to appreciate it most of the time.

joshua often reads to sawyer at night. love that. those 2 boys are the sweetest things.
this was school on thursday morning. i just didn't feel like doing the whole "school" thing. so, we made a "T" out of blocks and called it school :-)
it's been quite a day...my mom came to watch the 3 little boys so i could take the older 3 to the dr. rebekah and bailey had their annual checkups and i took joshua to get his flushot. it was nice to just have them with me! thanks, mom!!!
teacher conference this afternoon...life with 6 kids is busy, just so you know :-) in case you thought i was bored at all...i'm not!
busy-ish weekend. i think it's going to be just enough.

love those pumpkins! i went to make those the other day and discovered that in my stash of THOUSANDS of sheets of tissue paper, i had NO ORANGE! what?! so annoying. so we colored pumpkins instead :)

in fact. i am not even gonna look at that cookie. nope.
I DID click and it's the link to 'monday'...cruel and wrong Courtney. cruel and wrong ;-)
Loved our time together today...LOVED it. It was also good to let you "get away" with R, J, & B....and have a few minutes to YOURSELF. AND...of course, the pumpkins looked AWESOME in your windows. What a FUN house on the corner of your street ~ YOURS! Love you.
First, I've been following your blog for a while now and I have to tell you how much I love it. Thanks for keeping it real....keeping it honest. We have one adopted daughter and travel soon to bring home two more children.
Second, I had to chuckle when I began reading this post. I'm so there! My daughter was so close to me the other morning that I almost fell over her several times. It brings new meaning to the phrase, "dogging one's steps"!
Finally, I can't wait to do this craft with my daughter. I'd love the link to the website, just in case they have more fun things to try. Blessings to you as you navigate the waters of adoption parenting!
I am so making that dessert!!!! Did you like it? Did you add the coconut?
I think you should come to Colorado Springs for a visit. We really need to meet.
Laura
Finally getting caught up on your life. So glad you got to get away for awhile with friends. I know how refreshing that can be for a momma's soul. And you deserve it!! (and you look gorgeous in your "dressed up" photo!)
The camping trip looks like so much fun. I love that Levi had his own tent. :)
