lincoln - robin
sawyer - batman
levi - bob the builder
levi stayed with me and helped me pass out candy.
batman and robin (sawyer and lincoln) trick or treated for a few minutes.
then they joined me and pat took the big kids for a little while longer.
i'm discovering that EVERYthing is so much more exhausting/overwhelming with 6 kids. and 2 that it's ALL brand new to them.
good thing i'm realizing it and i hope it will help as we think about/plan for christmas!

I'm telling ya, everything you write is something that I, too, have just experienced! Halloween at are house was nuts. And exhausting. And...now that the 3 smallest ones are in bed...it was kind of fun, too. :)
Dude. Last year, we got home a week before Thanksgiving. We completely ignored that holiday. Hardly celebrated Christmas....and completely skipped birthdays. It is completely exhausting. I mean how do you even explain it to the newbies?
